• How is Diamond Hydrodermabrasion different from standard microdermabrasion?

  Standard microdermabrasion relies on dry crystals to exfoliate the skin’s surface. Diamond Hydrodermabrasion (used in our Aqua Facial) uses a diamond-tip wand combined with liquid infusion, allowing exfoliation, extraction, and hydration to occur simultaneously.

  The Concierge Note: Traditional microdermabrasion can feel abrasive and leave skin tight or dry afterward. The Aqua Facial works differently—it exfoliates while continuously bathing the skin in hydrating solutions. You get the clarity of a deep clean without that stripped, overworked feeling.

• What skin concerns does an Aqua Facial treat best?

  Aqua Facials are especially effective for congested pores, blackheads, dullness, uneven texture, and mild dehydration. The combination of controlled suction, aqueous exfoliation, and targeted serum infusion deeply cleans pores while maintaining the skin barrier.

• Is Hydrodermabrasion suitable for sensitive skin?

  Hydrodermabrasion may be appropriate for mildly sensitive skin when suction levels and infusion formulas are carefully customized. However, active inflammatory conditions such as moderate to severe rosacea or broken capillaries are contraindications due to increased vascular stimulation.

• Can I wear makeup after an Aqua Facial?

  We recommend waiting 24 hours before applying makeup to allow freshly cleared pores to settle and reduce the risk of congestion or irritation.

• Is there any downtime after Hydrodermabrasion?
